The South Bay Care Collaborative invites you to be part of a special event that honors the incredible caregivers and resource parents supporting children and youth in collaboration with the DCFS South County and Torrance offices. This appreciation event aims to foster meaningful connections between faith communities, churches, and these dedicated individuals.
How You Can Make a Difference:
- Church Partners: Be a small group facilitator fpr a dialogue with caregivers and resource parents to better understand their needs.
- Care Packages: Donate care packages to show appreciation for caregivers and resource parents (100 total needed).
- Donations: Contribute items for care packages, such as gift cards and self-care items.
- Volunteer: Help with set-up, hosting, serving food, and/or cleaning-up.
- Volunteer for Children and Youth Activities: Offer your time to support children’s and youth activities during the event.
- Resource Vendor: Be a resource vendor by providing resources, information and/or self-care opportunities on the day of the event.
- Sponsorship: Support the event by sponsoring food and refreshments.
